A New Meadowview Shopping Center called
"Freeport Marketplace" planned for the corners of Meadowview road and Freeport blvd. was unveiled recently at a community meeting helded last week at the Sam Pannell community center.
Once completed Meadowview will have a very nice looking shopping center on what is now an open field over run with high grass.
Some grading work has begun on the site but ground breaking is still a little ways off according to city officials.
But I can share this with you Councilwoman Pannell, city staff and the property developers have done a good job on this project.
This is a very attractive shopping center that rivals any development in the Sacramento area and it just may be the beginning of a long list of changes scheduled for the Freeport/Meadowview area.
Currently the following buildings are scheduled for the Freeport Marketplace Shopping Center
RiteAid - 17,000 sq. foot store
Mueller Pet clinic - 25,000 sq. foot
Carl's Jr
Unknown sit down eatery - hopefully
I hope we can get a few images to share with you all soon.
